March car sales reaches 9,298 units

Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA) reported that the country's March domestic car sales reached 9,298 units, increasing two fold than February's 5,030 vehicles but lower 16 percent compared with last March's 11,051.
In the whole Q1, VAMA's car sales attained 21,289 units, down 406 unit’s year-on-year.
The car sales of Toyota gained 3,108 vehicles in March, rising by 1,300 month on month and 19 percent year-on-year.
Truong Hai Auto last month posted the sales of total 2,375 units, higher three times than February's 1,626 and surging 42 percent against March 2009.
March sales of Ford doubled from 238 units of February to 603 units, Honda from 88 to 179, Vinaxuki from 540 to 726, GM Daewoo (Vidamco) from 503 to 749.
