Nissan to launch made-in-Viet Nam auto

Nissan Viet Nam will debut the Made-in-Viet Nam family car by 2010, it announced at a workshop in Ha Noi on Tuesday.
Under its contract with Hoa Binh-Viet Nam Motors Corporation, Hoa Binh will assemble the autos while Nissans Viet Nam will distribute the products.
Shinya Hannya, deputy chairman of Nissan in Asia, affirmed Viet Nam was a strategic and significant market.
Nissan Viet Nam, a joint venture between Japanese Nissan and Danish Kjaer Group A/S, was initially set up in 2008 to import and distribute autos.
