Vietnam Spends $2.1Bln on Automobile Imports in Jan-Sept
Vietnam
is estimated to import $2.1 billion worth of automobiles including fully
assembled cars and car components in the first nine months of this year, up
8.2% on year and up $0.3 billion from the revised figure of $1.8 billion in
August.

Statistics Office of Vietnam (GSO) said.
In
September alone, the on-month imported car turnover is forecast to fall by $3
million to $250 million.
Vietnam is estimated to import $678 million worth of 36,000 fully assembled cars in Jan- Sept, down 25% on year in volume and 12.5% lower in value.
