Park Hyatt Saigon announced it has upgraded its high-class transportation services by five units of S-Class, a top luxury model of Mercedes-Benz, at a handover ceremony on Thursday.
According to the company, the number of VIP guests is increasing, and premium transportation services are one of the key strategies of hospitality enterprises.
“At Park Hyatt Saigon, we intend to lead the chart in the hospitality service standards and compare ourselves with world-class premier hotels,” Michael Golden, general manager of Park Hyatt Saigon, said at the car handover event on Thursday.
“We are in the 5th year of operation in Vietnam, where our image and reputation has developed extremely well. However, our goal is to continue to lift the standards of service and product offers to our discerning guests. I am delighted to be part of this ceremony on Friday and witness yet another year of successful partnership between Mercedes-Benz and Park Hyatt Saigon.”
Udo Loersch, general director of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam, said: “We provide on Friday five units of the latest generation S-Class to Park Hyatt Saigon, a top five-star hotel in HCMC. S-Class is one of the greatest achievements of Mercedes-Benz; it is the pinnacle of luxury for top leaders and VIPs and fit with high class service of Park Hyatt Saigon.”
He added his company provides not only top-of-the-line cars to five-star and premium hotels and resorts, but also many other value added services and solutions for its customers in the hospitality area.
Mercedes-Benz Vietnam also revealed at the event that the demand for its luxury cars, especially top luxury models, is increasing so the company will deliver more S-Class cars next year. The total cost of the five-unit S-Class fleet handed over to Park Hyatt Saigon is around one million U.S. dollars.
The new S-Class sedan is the latest generation model that Mercedes-Benz Vietnam delivers to the luxury hotel for serving VIP guests.
As the latest generation, the long-wheel base version – the S-Class – is reportedly opening a new chapter in high-class motoring trends with top safety, intelligent technologies. The car is leading the worldwide market in the premium segment.
Equipped in the S-Class is a variety of cutting-edge technologies: the latest generation preventive passenger-safety system PRE-SAFE; the AIRMATIC air suspension system; the convenient KEYLESS-GO system to start the engine without a key; the all-new SPLIT-VIEW screen COMAND control system with an integrated high-class entertainment centre (DVD and MP3 player); rear-seat entertainment system, the THERMOTRONIC 4-zone climate control system: tyre pressure loss warning; eight airbags; and 7G TRONIC 7-speed auto transmission.
The sedan has two versions in Vietnam: S300L and S500L with respective prices (after VAT): VND3.978 billion and VND4.856 billion.
On this occasion, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam also launched the Mercedes Lifestyle Calendar 2011. This is the first time in Vietnam an automobile company has created a new concept for the New Year calendar that combines the appeal of luxury cars and vivid expression of famous public faces who share special passion for the brand, like Giang My, Miss Grand Slam Huong Giang, Supper model Thanh Hang, singer Quang Dung, Duc Tuan, actor Chi Bao, actress Hong Anh and Viet Trinh.
All pictures were captured locally in Vietnam, bringing a local touch and more emotion to Vietnamese people. Via the new concept, Mercedes-Benz also wants to assert its position as a pioneer not only in technologies but also a trendsetter in lifestyle and fashion.
