Italy‘s HP Motorcycle to enter Vietnam

HP Motorcycle Co from Italy has just signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the establishment of a motorcycles assembly and manufacturing joint venture in Vietnam.
The HP Motorcycle factory will be located in the northern province of Hung Yen. The products of the plant will be sold in the domestic market, exported back to Italy and some other markets. The other details of the plant has not revealed yet.
Currently, HP Motorcycle has begun entering the Vietnamese market by the import and distribution activities. The first three models recently launched to the market by HP Motorcycle included Santo, Monte and Romeo at a retail price of around 50 million dong per unit.
