2011-0913
Haxaco today opened the first second hand car centre for Mercedes-Benz in Vietnam.
Spanning over 2,500 square metres at 2008 Vo Van Kiet Boulevard in Ho Chi Minh City, the centre specialises in tuning cars with a paint booth which can improve the quality and diminish environmental pollution.
Customers buying cars less than five years old from the first registration or less than 100,000 kilometres will be warranted one year or 20,000km by Haxaco.
Udo Loersch, general director of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam, said the centre had investment capital of $3 million and is a project in $10 million plan to expand its agency system nationwide during 2010-2012.
Becoming an agency of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam since 2000, Haxaco has four workshops including the second-hand car centre, accounting for around 30 per cent of Mercedes-Benz’s sales.
On the occasion of the opening day, the centre will offer special treatments for all customers including free vehicle inspections and 10 per cent discounts on genuine spare parts and body/paint services. The incentives are from September 9 to October 8, 2011.
