Car import falls 77.3pct in January

The car imports in January reached 2,500 vehicles spending $45 million, falling by 77.3 percent in quantity and 76.4 percent in value compared with last December, general Statistic Office reported.

Factually, CBU import of December 2010 gained 11,000 units equalling to the value of $192 million, much higher than the previous forecast of 7,000 units and $98 million.
