Hyundai auto assembly workshop put into operation in Ninh Binh

The tourist car assembly workshop of the Hyundai automobile assembly and production plant was put into operation in the Gian Khau Industrial Park in Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province on September 23.

The plant has a total investment of nearly VND 650 billion (US$34.3 million) from the Thanh Cong Ninh Binh Group.

It is equipped with a state-of-the-art production line which is capable of producing 40,000 units per year.

The plant will assemble lorries, tourist and specialised cars.

The plant is planned to assemble at least 1000 tourist cars from now to the end of this year, and expected to reach a turnover of VND 400 billion and contribute nearly VND 100 billion to the State budget.
