Saigon Autotech expo opens on Thursday

The seventh Saigon International Autotech & Accessories show will kick off on Thursday at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in the city’s District 7, featuring mainly automobiles, motorcycles and the supporting industry.
The event, organized by Asia Trade Fair and Business Promotion (ATFA) in coordination with Chanchao International Co. from Taiwan, is expected to draw some 100,000 visitors over four days to see automobiles and motorcycles of various makes and brands.
Regarding automobiles, Saigon Autotech will welcome Subaru with Legacy Outback and Forester that are its remarkable products on the global market. Autotech 2011, as the show is named, also emphasizes feature stunning sport car models, according to the organizers.
Manufacturers of special-purpose vehicles and light-duty trucks and buses in Vietnam such as Vinamotor, Ngo Gia Tu, and FAW-Truong Thanh will also join this show to display their latest products.
Regarding motorcycles, Saigon Autotech 2011 will display the super motor models all over the world such as Harley Davidson, Ducati, BMW, Ohlins, Akrapovic, Domino and Kapma.
According to the organizers, this show also attracted 200 enterprises in the supporting industry, including 50 local ones specializing in manufacturing spare parts and accessories such as 3M, Auto Speed, PGI, Caska, and Ai Sinh.
